Great stay, Michelle was a wonderful host and makes the best eggs! We had a lovely time and would highly recommend. Michelle made restaurant reservations for us and answered the all tourist questions we had. Very helpful and friendly.

Michelle at the desk was extremely helpful; she gave us great tips for getting around the area, and she arranged a ride to the bus stop for us upon checkout. The bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. It is a family-friendly place, and definitely a quieter area than some of the hostel-type accommodations in Echoland. Goryu is walking distance, as are several restaurants and rental places, but it's about 10 minutes walking up a gradual incline on snow / ice. That didn't bother us, but it's worth noting.

Everything was great. This is the case for all old homes and is no fault of Junior Mint, but the walls are thin and sound travels within the building.

Junior Mint had a good location. Only a couple of minutes to the ski resort. They were very welcoming and helped where they could.

It wasn't the most spacious but it was not a deal breaker! I would come again!

We had a wonderful stay. Host Michelle was very helpful and always very friendly. It is a short walk to the lifts at Goryu, so in a very good location. The sister hotel, Hotel Sejour Mint, has a small onsen which is great for tired legs after a day on the mountain. The rooms were small, as in many places in Japan, but clean and modern and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included daily and Michelle was able to source alternative bread for me which was much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The location is really close to Goryu Escal plaza, you can go on foot like about 10min? The staffs are really helpful and friendly, the breakfast menu was lovely. They also have a space where you can store your snowboard or ski equipment 👍🏻

Not much, but since there is no convenience store nearby maybe you can provide the guest with some water 😃
