Hotel Junior Mint Hakuba

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating , breakfast was good. Location also good, 10 min from goryu ski resort. Would definitely come back again

it’s a japanese thing but the bathroom was quite small, would be nice if they had a bit more room to put stuff

Michelle was so accomodating, made our stay stress free. Even picked us up and dropped us back off from the bus stop. My partner ruptured her ACL and Michelle picked up supplies for her, I left some snowboarding gear there and didn’t realise until I returned back to Australia and she shipped it over for me. The facilities were kept very clean, the room was perfect and it was very affordable. Great value for money. You have free access to the onsen, and a very effective drying room. 10/10, I will be recommending this place to anyone that will listen

Such a cute and cozy hotel ! Michelle at the front desk was amazing and answered every question I had !! And I don’t know what I would have done without Don picking me up and dropping me off at the bus station… such a legend !! Would recommend anyone to stay here !

The location is perfect, 5-10minutes walk to Goryu Escal Plaza and walking distance to several good restaurants. (Highly recommend KAMUI Japanese restaurant nearby, we had 3 dinners there ) Michelle is so helpful and response timely on all the arrangement such as lift ticket, restaurant booking, transportation suggestion and etc. And the hotel provides pick up service from Goryu, Joe saved us in the heavy snow night. Moreover, the room has an independent bathroom, it's quite important for my son who has a little addicted to cleanliness. If you like the Osen bath, you can go to Hotel Sejour, this sister hotel just opposite the Junior Mint.

The room is not sound proof and room size is quite small, but you know, all these old houses in Japan have these problems. Overall is perfect for a holiday stay.

Great location, close to the Hakuba Goryu Botanic Garden. Staff added locally produced blueberry in the breakfast. Will definitely come back again in the winter season.
