"Good but not wonderful"

The gardens, breakfast area, pool area were lovely. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable.

Steep narrow stairs to room, only agile people can climb them. Sloping ceilings each side of bed. TV didn't work, fridge on a rickety shelf, toilet kept running without carefully pressing button. Wardrobe very basic. It was like a 3 star room in a 4 star guest house.

Great staff. Beautiful building, gardens. Very stylish. Quiet. Secluded. Lovely clean pool. Excellent breakfast and a lovely breakfast room. Fabulous room with French doors to the pool.

Place is perfection. Well positioned property, beautiful buildings and grounds and a real personal touch from the owners who made sure we knew where the best places were to go for dinner and made reservations for us. Room was truly beautiful and very clean and comfortable

Super friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful garden and swimming pool and perfect location. Very friendly and welcoming host who offers help in any way possible, trying to get last minute reservations, recommendations for your day activities or tending to a sick guest.
