Just fantastic!

We have stayed here a number of times, for good reason. Excellent location, security, breakfast, facilities, parking and staff. Friendly Peter Hagar adds to an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

On arrival, the tone was set by the beautiful rose garden. Picture postcard house, lovely bedroom, excellent breakfast. Super pool.

Lovely cottage in the middle of Franshoek. With a few rooms only, the place is a quiet gem. Excellent breakfast and walking distance from the galleries and restaurants. Large rooms with amenities.

Hosts were attentive and staff very friendly. Great breakfast and dinner/wine tour recommendations.

The room was great and very clean, hosts were wonderful, giving good suggestions of where to visit, beautiful garden and pool, fantastic location in Franschhoek

Staff were so helpful and friendly

Hele vriendelijke en betrokken gastheer, leuke attentie op de kamer, hele goede ligging vlakbij de hoofdstraat maar toch heel rustig, fijne schone kamer met een goede / stille airco en een heerlijk bed.

Ontbijt buffet en a la carte ontbijtgerechten helemaal goed, persoonlijk zou ik alleen de vleeswaren/ kaas, fruit en yoghurt niet in onafgedekte schalen doen.

We had a wonderful stay in Franschhoek with our warm and friendly host, Peter. He went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable—he offered us rides to a restaurant and the wine tram, and even made dinner reservations for us at several great places. The property is beautiful, with a stunning garden and a lovely pool area surrounded by roses—perfect for relaxing between activities. Breakfast was excellent and had everything we could want: fresh yogurt, delicious fruits, sweets, and à la carte options. The location is ideal, set on a calm street but still within easy walking distance of restaurants. No car is needed here; getting around by Uber is simple, which makes wine tasting even more enjoyable. A truly charming place with exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended!
