"Cute apartment in a lovely community"

Lovely traditional property in a very quiet village with lots of local amenities. ‘The Snug’ is an annexe to the old station masters house at Riccall, situated only 25 minutes by car from York City Centre. It is a lovely little apartment with everything you’d need for a short or medium length stay including a shower bathroom, sofa bed, television, outside sitting area and a fully furnished kitchen. With private access it was ideal for our needs as we had a weekend stay to view York Christmas markets. I never got to meet the host but we were greeted by a lovely hamper full of sweet treats, fresh bread and home made jams, orange juice and milk. It’s the little things that make this place so lovely. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the hassles of daily life and relax away for a few days!

"Lovely cosy stay"

Lovely welcome hamper left for us and milk and orange juice in the fridge as well as butter and jam. Fluffy dressing gowns provided and the washing up liquid and toiletries smelt lovely. Good location close to York with a bus stop just up the road.
