The property was average and location from town centre is 20min. Neighbourhood was not safe and our car rental got broken into during the night.

The location of the property is approx 20 min walk from the town centre. The neighbourhood is not safe and our rental car was broken into during the night. Our property items were stolen. Hot water was not working at all in the showers.

it took3 hours to fix the WiFi problem. all electric appliances in the kitchen except refrigerator were not working, we couldn’t even make a drink of warm water. air conditioner no power. Novelty Control Devices Can't Meet Travelers' Basic Needs. it’s a nightmare there

- great location, about 2 min from the Central Station (bus and train), 10 min from the supermarkets and about 15 min from the Dome, - the appartment is spatious and has plenty of amenities, - the communication with the host was good and he answered all our questions, - the host let us leave our luggage there at an early hour, before our check-in would be possible.

- the cleanliness of the apartment could be better, especialy in the bathroom, - the bathroom door creaks a lot when is being open/closed, - the building neighbours were noisy early in the morning, - at night the neighborhood seems unsafe, although we didn't have a problem with no one, - the boiler didn't have enough hot water for all of us

The host is very nice, apartment is very spacious. There is also a small terrace which is really nice as well. It is not that far from the city center and it is pretty easy to find a parking place nearby. Apartment also looks really safe.

There arent that many windows which you could open. We didnt have warm water during the second night, but it probably was unlucky.

One of the worst locations in the city, lots of trash in streets (but thats Catania for you), smashed car windows, recommendations to avoid walking at night in this neighbourhood. Property has lots if not all fake reviews (who would talk about Alexa and Netflix as owner does? ☺️). Maybe this property is good for people who live in 3rd world countries, but as a comfort and luxury lover, this was a rippoff for the price. Street door should be fixed not to make slamming noises, windows are as thin as they were open, so you will hear lovely bottle smashes, screams, lots of various noises and lovely trash cars and worker at 5-6 am and whole night. So no sleep. Whole aparment is old, super cheap made and unclean (mainly from oldness), I understand that this is Sicily, but owner can atleast clean his facilities outside the apartment and outdoors. Overall I wouldnt recommend this apartment for this price, should be not more then 40-50€. And avoid Sicily to - 3rd world country like, will probably loose historical things because of their trash.

clean, self check in, close to center

Very good location: close to the train and bus stations, as well as to downtown. We appreciated the charm and the quietness of the split level apartment, as well as the tech savvy. Although we did not use the TV, we enjoyed the diversity in the lighting options. Nice home fragrance. Filippo, our gracious host, was checking daily to see if we needed anything.

The cleanliness was not up to par, most evident in the two bathrooms and the kitchen. These facilities would definitely benefit from a much needed upgrade. In the upstairs bathroom towel supports were missing, although the screws were still in the walls.

Good localization, everything needed, friendly and helpful host - it was brillant stay!
