I was greeted as soon as I arrived in my taxi by the host and he took my bags straight to the room. He showed me around and left me be promptly to get a good nights sleep before my flight in the morning. The room was great and did what I needed it to do. Clean enough and good facilities

The location can’t be beat. You can sit comfortably on the balcony and watch the beach and nearby activity. Also the view from the pool is great. Desh is very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean and the bed comfortable.

My review may be impacted by the airport closures in the Middle East so please keep that in mind as you read. We booked an apartment with a full kitchen and washing machine for $75 a night. That felt high but the location and amenities seemed to justify the cost. And we were only going to spend our last night in Sri Lanka here. But what we got was a studio with only a small refrigerator. No way to actually cook or wash clothes. Desh said it’s because the airport closures impacted the guests staying in the room we booked. He asked if I’d like to ask them to move. Of course I said no because it’s the polite thing to do. Plus we were originally planning on only one night. But when I asked for a discount I was told no. (Later he did knock LKR 3000 off the rate.) So I’m left with an uneasy feeling that it might have been a bait and switch scam but I also want to give the benefit of the doubt because of the unusually circumstances going on with the massive number of flight cancellations. You decide.

Spontan gemietet und das Beste daraus gemacht. Unsere urspünglichen Pläne mussten wir wegen dem Wetter ändern. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Gut war eine Küche mit Herd und Ofen zur Selbstverpflegung.

Es hätte etwas mehr Ausstattung in der Küche sein können. Ein Topf mehr hätte nicht geschadet. Auch in Tisch im Wohnzimmer wäre nett und die Sofasituation war nicht wirklich Luxus.

This is half Apartment half hotel where upon the apartment host and facility were excellent with a part view of the Sea and part of the Neighbourhood. A little Kitchenette and fridge very welcome. Also only 20 mins from Airport great after a long flight. There are plenty bars and restaurants on the Road and the Beautiful and lively Negombo beach is easily accessible through Hotel opposite. Rooftop Pool Lovely

The Hotel side of things could do so much better. There is a rooftop Restaurant that provides a buffet breakfast but only an abandoned and very shut bar. The pool area is desolate with nowhere near enough loungers. The rooftop despite the pool looks once loved but now forgotten. Laundry was a shambles and not cheap.

Great location near airport. Perfect place to land and catch up on sleep or refresh before leaving. Large fridge freezer/kitchenette. Tv with international channels. Lashings of hot water. Close to beach. Lovely big window and small balcony with side view of beach. Top floor pool. A fantastic touch was that the property messaged us, asked us our arrival time, met us at the door and took us straight to the room. Took our passport details in the room without any fuss or bother. Fantastic touch for any tired guest. Also gave us the top tips of food and shops around. Loved that!!
