Beautiful property! Huge room wit fantastic bed and amazing views from the balcony . Easily accessible to town and botanical gardens. Staff super friendly and so helpful organising tuk tuk

A beautiful and interesting house in a quiet location just outside Kandy.

Lack of introduction information e.g. that evening meal was available just across the road. We arrived early evening and resorted to takeaway delivery not knowing a nice restaurant was next door. We upgraded to the suite and regretted it because the water pump was on the roof above our room and was very noisy every few minutes all through the day and night. Luckily we had ear plugs.

The host Leslie was a kind, gentle and attentive person. It was a beautiful house to return to after busy days exploring Kandy. Beautifully decorated, good hot water shower, very comfy bed, excellent views.

Nothing. It’s a gem

We were looking for a place to finish our holiday in a little bit more luxury than our previous stops. Richmond House was pleasant but nothing special. Expensive for what we got.

There was no food available at the hotel so we had to walk up alot of extremely steep steps to the neighbouring hotel for breakfast. The breakfast was extremely disappointing and definitely not worth the extra money. The toast was like cardboard, the eggs were solid and had clearly been cooked for a long time, the juice was orange squash, and there were tiny slivers of fruit brought right at the end.

Very spacious rooms. The hospitality was good. The view from the rooms was amazing.

Great place for a couple of days out of the busy city center. The Rooms are comfy and large with a stunning view from the balcony. Absolutely worth the way up the hill.

Host was amazing and extremely helpful. Huge room with sitting area and balcony with lovely views. Highly recommend.
