Good location, easy check in, pretty comfortable.

Bathroom smelled a little funny and had almost no hand soap or toilet paper left

Cute and cozy, proprietor was kind and even helped us when we were having an emergency.

Good bus connection and nice neighbourhood. It was cost effective as we booked it during bank holiday when the running festival was taking place. The room had essentials like clean bedsheets, towel, and a pretty good TV with Netflix and other apps. The bathroom was refurbished and had continuous hot water. We were surprised by the tumble down service, our beds were made. Communication on the app was clear for gaining entry to the property.

We didn't see a reception, it may have been in another building - so it was a bit hard to have a one on one chat regarding some requirements like extra towels etc. The drawers were a bit dusty and lots of pamphlets in many of them - we didn't really use them much for this reason. Also, the bathroom although refurbished had some issues with the shower door being loose.

Convenient for walk or bus into city. Close to supermarket for breakfast.

Room smaller than expected and in need of some maintenance e.g. bathroom radiator. We would also have appreciated a small breakfast at the property to prepare us for our days exploring Edinburgh.
