Brae Guesthouse

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the area was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Łazienka w pokoju albo do gruntownego czyszczenia albo od razu do remontu, gdyby nie jej stan cały pobyt byłby świetny szczególnie że kontakt z właścicielem był super. Czystość łazienki była koszmarna , to jedyny minus całego pobytu.

The house is in a very convenient location (quiet, peaceful neighborhood) . There is a bus to the city centre that leaves practically right outside the door. The staff was friendly, and the owner contacted us ahead of time to provide all the necessary information :)

I would like to make a complaint about my recent booking and stay at The Brae Guest House Reservation 235-326-684, 17th April 2026 to 20th April 2026 I wish to express my disappointment and hopefully a solution can be offered. I booked the 3-night stay for a surprise birthday present for my girlfriend to whom was equally disappointed and very stresses at the accommodation overall. I had booked a larger room (sleeps three people) to find that it was very dated, dirty, not cleaned, dirty towels, dirty floor, just absolutely disgusting and waws not cheat, £336 for 3 nights! Please see faults etc below: • On my way, the host had called to say that wall by the window had been painted due to the previous guest spilling coffee up the wall. When we entered the room there was no sign or spell of Paint? The whole room needed painting. • The single bed that was in the room was broken and could not be slept on. • The main small double bed, base divan was dirt and the clip was broken so the bed constantly moved leaving gaps making this very uncomfortable. • The carpet was very worn, dirty and had not been cleaned. • The one small rail provided for three people was partially leaning and about to break so could not use this. • The walls were stained and radiator in the room had dirty marks on it. • Ther was one small and one hand towel provided which both had stains on them and were not clean. We asked the host for more towels to which he provided but they were very frayed and worn. • All the doors in the room were filthy and dirt and had not been wiped down for a long time. • The small bathroom was tiny with a dirty toilet, sink and shower, again not been cleaned. • The toilet had not been cleaned and the 2 toilet rolls provided were left on a dirty windowsill with an empty toilet roll left from the previous guests. • The sink was tired, filthy with built up dirt around both taps that had not been cleaned for a long time. • The shower, again tired, tiny and filth, not c
