Blue Ocean Villa

Everything is new, modern and functional. Excellent for 2 adults and 2 kids. Oh...the pool...my kids loved it. Great view.. A couple of minutes' walk from levada do Mohino and levada nova. Jose sent us the GPS coordinates for us to take the easiest route to the villa. The last couple of meters of street are a bit challenging,but doable.

The weather didn't cooperate,unfortunately Jose doesn't do miracles

The views are stunning, the heated pool was a wonderful luxury - ok it was a little pricey to heat it, but so worth it and it was always clear that it would cost extra. Jose was super responsive and the villa had everything we could need to be completely self sufficient. The narrow lane and sharp turn to get in the gate was slightly terrifying when you are in a rental and used to driving on the right, but we got pretty good at by the end of the week. Not for really nervous drivers though. Great location for getting around the island and the best walk we found was right on the doorstep- Levada Nova/Levada Moinho. People in the cafe and little corner shop at the end of the lane were friendly too :)

Hard to find as the road doesn’t look like a car would fit through it

La casa è molto pulita e arredata in maniera super, gli arredamenti sono veramente nuovi, i letti sono molto comodi, in casa c’è tutto e di più di quello che serve in una vacanza (perfino l’asciugatrice che ho apprezzato tanto) e la vista sulle piantagioni di banane e sull’oceano è favolosa. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato dei doni, molto apprezzati. Per accedere alla casa c’è un cancelletto motorizzato. La piscina è fantastica per rilassarsi prima o dopo una giornata a camminare, l’acqua sembra fresca ma quando ci si tuffa e si nuota la temperatura è perfetta. Comoda anche la sedia a dondolo! Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il barbecue! La zona è molto tranquilla, all’inizio della strada c’è un piccolo negozio comodo per comprare pane, latte, verdura ecc e un bar dove abbiamo potuto gustare dei buon espresso come in Italia. La posizione della casa è molto comoda, sia perché è una delle zone dell’isola più soleggiate (almeno nella nostra vacanza) e perché si trova vicino alle strade principali per raggiungere tutti i luoghi dell’isola. Non abbiamo mai visto José, ma è sempre stato molto gentile, molto disponibile e pronto a rispondere alle nostre domande o richieste.

Per me non c'è niente che non vada bene, ho letto le recensioni della strada stretta per entrare. All'inizio è vero sembra di non riuscire ma se si pensa che altri prima di te sono entrati e dopo la prima volta diventa tutto normale.

Tout! L’accueil et la gentillesse de José qui a été aux petits soins ! Merci beaucoup! La magnifique maison, super bien entretenue, équipée au top et très confortable. La piscine incroyable!(on a énormément apprécié qu’elle puisse être chauffée: un vrai confort, on en a vraiment profité! Le supplément en vaut la peine) La superbe vue sur l’océan et les bananiers.

Quelques aboiements qui venaient troubler le calme, mais ils ne durent pas.

Our stay in Blue Ocean Villa was amazing. Everything was great - location, sea view, accomodation, cleanless and communication with Jose.
