Canalside Manor House Annexe with Secure Parking

It was lovely and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The facilities were excellent. The hosts were helpful and very friendly. There were plenty of visits to the garden from the local wildlife.

Wow what a place! Beautiful, we stayed here for a full weekend and highly recommend, the grounds are stunning and the owners were lovely. The place was big and had everything we needed, like home from home.

We loved it all!

The location was superb. We looked out of the windows at lawns leading to five beautiful silver birch trees. The whole cottage was surrounded by lovely, well-kept grounds. Our hosts were extremely helpful, when I said that I felt the cold, we were provided with extra heaters for the living room and bedroom which made them really cosy.

I was met by the owner on arrival and was shown around the property ,Excellent area with stunning gardens, the property was spacious and clean with all the necessary items for a weeks stay.

Location. Beautiful countryside. Nice walks near canal. Host extremely helpful, check in good, straightforward. Nice walk to local Canalside pub. Peaceful and relaxing outside patio area to sit in to enjoy the views. We had a wonderful stay.

It's a great little place to stay for a getaway.. beautiful, lush, green surroundings. The property was very clean and very comfortable, with all the amenities you'll need. The hosts were also lovely to meet, showed us around the property, how everything works, etc. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Barry and Jackie! *****

I wish we had more time there to explore the canalside and local area.

This annex was the perfect place for us to stay. It was quiet, clean and very well equipped. It's to the side of the main house but apart from our arrival I don't think we saw the owners so it was nice and private. The bathroom is a little dated but that wasn't a problem. My son stayed on the sofabed which we left up for all of our stay. The TV had Sky so we could tune in to F1 and Wimbledon! We walked in both directions along the canal which is close by (you can walk to pubs in either direction). We recommend and would return if in the area again.

We had a little trouble finding it - some more instructions would be useful (eg. it's next to the church!).
