Location excellent. Nice toiletries and lovely helpful staff.

Rooms can be hot and windows can only be opened a little.. it was a particularly hot night when we were there. Room quite cramped for a de- luxe. Bed described as extra large but just a double. Quite expensive for what you get. Telly reception poor so we read the paper. Bathroom very small. Toilet flushes in an over enthusiastic manner.

"Perfect spot for a stop over in Uppingham"

Staff were very friendly and helpful despite being short on day of arrival and again at breakfast were very attentive. Breakfast was good. Convenient location meant we could just walk to eat/drink and explore.

Due to hot weather, the lack of aircon was more noticeable, but fan provided
