3 Bedroom House Near Beach By Travel Lets Holiday Rentals Donegal With Private Garden

Good location, clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Owner very responsive and supportive with queries.

Just a small thing, Would have liked a bit more storage for items in bathroom.

The property was central to all amenities. It was clean and comfortable.

The house was cold on arrival but the property management crew were quick to respond and got it sorted for us.

There was few lights not working two of the kitchen lights .The one in the on suite didn't work so we took the bedroom bulb and put it in bathroom so we then didn't have a main bedroom light used the only one bedside light that was working

Location very good, beds very comfie. Great big house.

Thought there might be some fuel provided for wood burner, if had of known would have come prepared. Was a cold, wet & windy night. Might be nice to state that. Also maybe state in handbook that instructions for TV are on the wall.

We were three couples staying here on New Year’s Day and had a fantastic stay. The house felt very welcoming, with a Christmas tree and decorations still up, which created a lovely atmosphere. Coal and turf were provided for the stove, which we lit when we arrived, and the central heating was easy to use and heated the house quickly. The house was spotless and well equipped, everything we needed was in the kitchen, and towels and bed linen were provided. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we all slept very well. There was parking available for two cars, which was very convenient. The location is ideal—within walking distance of bars and restaurants in Downings, with the beach directly across the road. We would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it. Can also highly recommend the cocktails and pizzas from Goose and Gander ! It’s a minutes walk from the house!

The house had nice decor and the Christmas tree was a lovely touch. It's in a great location and suited us perfectly.

Location and beds

The house was cold on arrival and it took us until the next morning to figure out how to work the heating and all the radiators had been turned off. The house needs repairs and painting in places. For eg. awet patch on the living room ceiling and peeling paint in the ensuite up stairs. The house was average in terms of cleanliness. The bathrooms and kitchen were just ok and underneath the beds were dirty. Also, on the morning we were leaving there was a car with 2 women ( I assume cleaners) sitting watching us for an hour or more packing our stuff into our cars. We found this very off putting as if we were being watched. Whilist the location of the house was good and we had an enjoyable weekend, I wouldn't book this house again.
