3 Bedroom House Near Beach By Travel Lets Holiday Rentals Donegal With Private Garden

We were only staying for 2nights but the Location of the house was very central, 2 min walk to all facilities including the beach. The house was clean and well equipped with everything you would need.

A lot of the doors were difficult to close also no main bathroom upstairs so you have to use the en-suite in the other bedroom.. not ideal.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Very spacious and well equipped, very comfortable. Back garden was a great size and very secure for the children to play in.

Overall property was fantastic, only thing I could fault was bathroom door upstairs couldn’t be closed properly as it seemed to be swollen. One other minor thing was there was no tray for the grill and only one cooking tray for main oven which was a pain when trying to cook in the morning.

This was a wonderful, spacious house just around the corner from the excellent small pubs and restaurants in Downings. The house had tons of sunlight, a lovely backyard, ample parking, and good showers. We enjoyed the fireplace as well. It’s very convenient to the golf courses!

The bedding left something to be desired - duvets needed to be refreshed. The kitchen was nicely set up as a space but not kitted out for cooking a full meal.

Two bathrooms, however one was in an en-suite bedroom upstairs with another twin room on that level, meaning those in twin needed to go downstairs for bathroom.

We had a fantastic time. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing location!

The Property is ideally situated close to Downings beach and bars. (It is in a residential area). At night, on the weekend, if you open the bedroom skylight you hear music from the hotel. If staying with kids, I would suggest a fan for the rooms that blows cool air for hotter weather rather than opening the window. There is a bedroom downstairs, which is a bit smaller than the upstairs ones (one is ensuite), but ideal for anyone with mobility issues. There is a bathroom across the hall from the downstairs bedroom. Kitchen is well stocked with all that you would need for cooking. (Downings shop not brilliantly stocked but better one short drive away in Carrigart). There are some cosmetic works needed to the property, but it was clean, airy, and comfortable. It had everything we needed, including logs for lighting the fire. We would happily return. We would like the owners to permit well-behaved dogs so we could return with families. Property owner replied promptly to messages and was helpful. We had a lovely weekend break. (4 adults)

Really lovely stay, house was very comfortable and within walking distance of all that beautiful Downings has to offer. Host was great, will definitely be back
