Great location right on the beach, balcony overlooking beach. Very africentric decor. Staff were really helpful. We'll worth the stay. Will be back soon.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The staff were some of the kindest and most welcoming people we've ever met — always smiling, helpful, and making sure everything was perfect throughout our time there. The location couldn’t be better: right on the beach, with breathtaking sunsets you can enjoy every evening from the terrace. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained — it felt so good to come back after a day at the beach or exploring to a fresh, clean space. That little detail made such a difference. And we can’t forget the two amazing dogs, Pilou and Naya, who instantly made us feel at home! So friendly and sweet, they added an extra touch of warmth to the whole experience. This place truly exceeded all expectations. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

The facilities, the workers, the beach and the island. Basically went above and beyond for all of our needs.

The place is decorated with extremely good taste amd everything seems to be carefully prepared to really make the best of our stay. The restaurant feels like paradise. Excelent food and drinks and amazing view! Super friendly and helpful staff.

The room is a bit small and breakfast could have more variety.

The Dive Centre was excellent. The standard of the equipment for hire was exceptional, the staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and some of the dive sites - South Canyon and the Mitsio Wreck, in particular - were exceptional. Aaron and his team offer a World Class service.

I thought we'd booked a room with a Sea View like the photos in Booking.com. Actually we only had a bit of a sea view, so that was a bit disappointing. They could be more transparent about the options. They don't take credit card (like every other place on Planet Earth) so they should tell you about this upfront. The breakfast service is sloooow.

Maison Ilang Dive Center is a quiet haven tucked away in the heart of a bustling, lively area. This charming, beautifully designed boutique hotel is clean, and the attention to detail in every corner really stands out. The food served here was some of the best we had in the area, fresh, flavourful and thoughtfully prepared. The pool is a refreshing oasis, perfect after a day of exploring. But what truly makes Maison Ilang special is the staff. Every single person we encountered was incredibly warm, kind and genuinely helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made our stay unforgettable.

One point of caution: we would advise being careful with the tour recommendations provided by the hotel. We were referred to a local guide named Luciano (Island Tours), but the experience was far from what had been promised. Unfortunately, not only did the tour fall well short of expectations, but when we raised the issue, we were unable to obtain a partial refund that was initially promised. Disappointingly, the hotel manager (Laura), who had initially acted as an intermediary, eventually stopped communicating with us about the matter. This was the only blemish on an otherwise wonderful stay.

The clean envieroment, the room, front of the beach, nice atmosfere.. good breakfast, I did not use the dive service .. but seems very organized and profesional.
