This is a true home away from home. It has everything you need to enjoy solitude or be with family and friends.

This has little to do with “the property,” but being your energy for stairs. This part of Sicily (as most of the island) requires agility.

Great host, beautiful apartment with view of the sea and sunset.

Property that left mixed feelings. The positive sides: it is large, with good views, close to the bus/train stations (if you walk downhill), nice (provided you don't criticize her) and cooperative (we had to arrive late because of general transport strike and this was not an issue) host. Easy to find, no issues to get keys.

CLEANLINESS! The overall rate for cleanliness (9 out of 10) is clearly overrated. The kitchen hasn't been cleaned for at least a week with sticky floor with crumbs, clearly dirty fridge with somebody else's (old) food in the freezer. Also old bread and other things that are supposed to be food in many places in the kitchen. The bathroom/shower has also not been clean for at least a week with hair even on surfaces you cant' imagine it to be. The balcony hasn't been cleaned for weeks (we had to face a very dusty table with half-smoked cigarettes in it). Bedroom and bed were clean though. I know Alida attacks those criticizing her, but, dear Alida, you confirmed everything was all right after we left and we in fact left the apartment cleaner than it was when we got in. Before trying to retaliate, please simply clean the apartment. The host is only able to communicate in English via whatsapp, you have to communicate with her in Italian when using booking.com messenger regardless of description stating another 3 languages besides Italian. The apartment is very near both stations, but it will not help you if you are not fine walking upstairs in sunny and hot conditions.

The owner is very nice. She met us at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. There was free parking on the street. It was a couple blocks from the plaza and restaurants.

The surrounding area was not very nice. Not very clean and I wouldn’t want to walk it by myself, ( we were a group of 4). The toilet can’t take paper, which was fine but we just aren’t used to.

The guest was really polite and helpful. I was informed about surrounding area.

The parking does not have a specific slot, you have to find a spot on the street. The apartment could be a little bit cleaner.

The house is huge and very well located. It has everything you need and more and everything is very comfortable. Parking is not a problem since there's plenty in the streets nearby and you can easily walk to the city center. The view is stunning. Luna and her mother are two lovely ladies that did everything to welcome us and make us feel at home.

Alida is super nice host! She greeted you in person and explained everything and recommended nearby restaurant / tourist spots. She is so kind to give us a hand made jam!!!

Incredibly spacious. Has got everything you might need at the place, a washing machine, first aid kit, everything.

The apartment is huge and the view is fantastic. The host Alida was very nice to wait for us to check-in a later time at night and she was very kind to explain everything about the property and the places of interest and left some breakfast and water for us.
