The Sunset Suite

Location was great for what we were wanting. The apartment was nice and spacious and lovely looking across the harbour. Parking was a little costly but it is the waterfront of Auckland.

They need to install sound proof glazzing/joinery! The bedroom balcony door is broken and would not shut against the seals and even if it did the standard of glazing would never keep the outdoor noise out! We knew there was a bar/club beneath the apartments but did not expect the high level of noise to literally continue from the people (despite the establishment having closed) right through till 6am. (no exaggeration) People screaming and arguing, zero police presence little bit concerning.

It wasn’t really clean. It was a little bit expensive for the accommodation

Central location was excellent. Within walking distance (5min) of the train station, visitor information centre and shops. The clensiness of the facilities in the apartment were fantastic. It was luxury. Everything you needed was there. The balcony with a view of the harbour was lovely to wake up to. 2 tvs with a good selection of channels too. The owners Annebelle and Katie always kept in touch to make sure we settled in well. My mum, who was visiting from Ireland loved the mastar bedroom. Would definitely recommend this apartment and would return again with family.

The WiFi was only average to good quality. It kept cutting out and only really worked in the living room. Would consider a booster or switching supplier. Everything else was fantastic.
