The Sunset Suite

The apartment is very comfortable and the decor has been chosen beautifully. It's very cosy and the view is incredible. A great location!

As we were staying in a private residence (airbnb), we were not able to store our luggage with the hotel. I understand it's against hotel policy, but I would have been happy to pay for this service to the hotel. Something they should negotiate with the hotel. The only issue I had was the noise from the below restaurants, bars, and late night patrons, which was quite disturbing at all hours of the night. They should look into upgrading the doors and glass for better soundproofing.

The apartment 515 was on the 5th floor. The main double bedroom was good and clean and main room comfortable. It had a small balcony with table and 2 chairs and overlooked the bay.

This was advertised as a 2 double room apartment. The second bedroom although described as a double, had no window or aircon, and when the door was closed it was completely dark. It had no bedside table or light, no hanging space and the bed was only 4ft wide. Although the apartment was on the 5th floor, the noise from the bar below over the weekend was loud and continued till 2.30am. OK if you're a party animal but making sleep impossible without earplugs! We were told the room had been recently refurbished, yet the curtains were shredded from the sun. Barely adequate cooking facilities. We were overcharged for the parking, which we couldn't recover as only cash was accepted. At $90 for 2 nights, steep to say the least! The apartments were managed by a different company to the hotel below. We had to leave our room key in the hotel reception box as we had to vacate the room and carpark and were told we'd be charged for doing this, although this didn't happen on the end. Why there wasn't be a contingency arrangement for this type of scenario is beyond us!

Location. Views. Environment (lights, mirrors etc).

Needed a dishcloth, and more toilet paper and bathroom products for a 3 day stay for a family. Also some tissues and some dishwash liquid would be great.

we stayed on a Saturday night so pretty noisy with the bars downstairs but k we it would be like that and it was only one night.
