The Nine Mirissa

It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed. Starting with super welcoming people and staff, you suddenly find yourself in a cosy, yet modern villa that feels like home. The rooms are just awesome, amazing view and not only the view of village and the Weligama bay, but you can also see jungle monkeys living their best life from your own room. Great pool side and super clean environment. Location is close to different beaches and the cute streets of Mirissa village. On top of the experience of the Nine Mirissa is the chef, Chandana, who makes you the most delicious meals - we had our best Sri Lankan meals there. They also help out with taxi and transfer, tours etc. Simply the most amazing stay!

The Nine was different to other hotels I've stayed in and I'm glad I got to experience it. The breakfast was my favourite time, it honestly felt like home walking into the common kitchen area and seeing the staff each morning, sitting out on the balcony having a beautiful breakfast watching the peacocks and monkeys.

I would have just loved a fridge in the room but other than that I had a great stay at this property.

Lage suboptimal, viel zu teuer für das Einkommensniveau und das, was geboten ist. Für 2 Nächte bald 500 Dollar und als Frühstück kriegst billiges Toastbrot serviert. Lage ist nicht der Hit, nebenan alles vermüllt. Wir sind derzeit im Radisson Collection und zahlen für diesen Luxus Tempel mit Suite und direkter Strandlage für 3 Nächte deutlich weniger.

The place is magical, the living room / dining space is spacious , feels like home 🌸 Chef is amazing , always wanted to serve perfect dish for us , warm and amazing person .

Great place

We booked this last minute and it was a really lovely retreat for us. We only stayed one night but it was very peaceful and we definitely could have stayed longer. Good location and easy to walk / tuk tuk everywhere. Lovely and helpful staff.
