The Nine Mirissa

From the moment you walk into the hotel, it feels like home. The view of the room was breathtaking, you get to wake up everyday to a beautiful view. The bathroom was spacious and so good. Chandana, the best chef in this world. He made us feel at home and made us the most delicilous breakfast and dinner everyday. The whole staff were super super friendly and welcoming. The pool is really nice and relaxing. 10 mins away from Secret beach which is a walking distance. We will definitely return again. We recommend it 100%. Special place to our hearts❤️

Fantastic hotel, with staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Highlights included relaxing by the pool and a amazing private dinner that was arranged just for the two of us at a very reasonable price!

La struttura è molto ampia, moderna e ben curata, con un numero limitato di sole 6-7 camere. La piscina è particolarmente apprezzabile e l’area circostante è gradevole. Il Wi-Fi è veloce e funziona bene. Questa sistemazione può risultare ottimale per chi cerca un ambiente tranquillo e un’area piscina di qualità. Personale e Manager dell’Hotel sono estremamente cortesi.

La colazione è risultata piuttosto deludente, con una scelta limitata a qualche fetta di pane con marmellata, frutta e una frittata. La mancanza di privacy è evidente, poiché alcuni ospiti vengono fatti sedere allo stesso tavolo, senza la possibilità di un ambiente riservato, simile a un ostello. In camera è assente la televisione. Dalla posizione esterna si notano elementi poco piacevoli come un’antenna della luce, ecc. Si segnala inoltre l’assenza di un ristorante interno alla struttura, il che rappresenta un limite per alcuni ospiti. Considerando il prezzo richiesto, mi sarei aspettato di più.

It’s not really a 5 star hotel level. Some small things like no mini bar in the room or towels not getting changed although we left them on the floor

Beautiful modern property in a great location close to 2 fantastic beaches and a few minutes walk to Secret Beach. We met James (and Lou) the owner and their friends who happened to be staying at the same time. We were welcomed to a ‘family feel’ environment and told to help ourselves to drinks and to join in on the daily on site yoga. The pool area was really relaxing and beautiful with the pool being the perfect temperature. We felt more like we were leaving a few days with friends than staying at accommodation. We were given great recommendations of places close by to dine (and there were plenty). The chef (sadly I have forgotten his name) was so lovely and helpful and engaging. We really enjoyed our chats with him and he was obviously also a talented chef. Breakfast was always lovely and the timing of it very flexible. We really enjoyed our 3 days here.

We had an amazing stay at The Nine Mirissa. By chance, the owners were spending a few nights here at the same time, and we ended up having a hilarious evening with them that really made the trip special. The chef’s food was fantastic, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The view is absolutely stunning, you look out over a sea of green palm trees all the way to the beach. The hotel’s design makes it feel both elegant and comfortable. A place we’d happily return to!

View, pool, food. The whole concept was excellent. Short yuk yuk to beaches, shops and restaurants.
