The Shades Galle

The property is amazing, the room was spotless, the pool was clean, gardens immaculate and the manager was extremely helpful, our stay was so one of our most memorable of our 8 different places we stayed on our Sri Lankan holiday❤️

Nothing about the property but the mozzies were next level here so we had to light coils and loads of mozzie spray.

We had the place to ourselves, there’s only 1 other room, and made good use of the pool. The whole place was immaculate. Great kitchen facilities, really good shower, big bed + decent duvet.

I didn’t dislike anything but it wasn’t in the centre but it was easy enough to walk or get a tuk tuk.

An okay stay for one day.

Flaky wifi, host didn't really speak English. Amenities and breakfast was very basic compared to other hotels we stayed in. Bathroom was connected via a window on the top wall to the one of room next door and you could hear everything. Overall not value for money

Very private, only 2 units on the property. Loved the pool, very clean.

It was a bit too far out from the main town, which wasn’t a problem for us as we liked being away from the hussle and bussle. The breakfast was a bit average.

There are just two spacious apartments and a shared kitchen/breakfast room in this small locally run hotel. Lovely pool and gardens. Comfortable bed, lots of storage, huge bathroom with plenty of hot water. Helpful member of staff on site.

The pool was an amazing place to relax. Clean, modern accommodation with air con. Pool towels provided. Amazing large bathroom. We booked both rooms which are separated by the kitchen so had the place to ourselves. Beautiful gardens, all kept very clean and tidy. Any questions before or during our stay were answered straight away by the owner.
