View onto the loch from the bar and restaurant was beautiful. Bar and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. Free parking. The young lad who served us was extremely polite and the breakfast extremely quickly, good quality full English and fish options

Arrived half an hour before check in and was told to sit and wait until 4pm. late check in and early checkout. No biscuits on the tea/coffee tray in the room. Only one toilet roll, when that ran out thank god I had some tissues in my handbag. Limited continental breakfast, only cereal and yoghurt, no pastries, cold meat, chrese or able to make toast.

Staff were fantastic and the hotel was very clean

Whole place smelled musty and old. There was a new strange smell in every part of the hotel. The bathrooms desperately need updating as well. The walls were also quite thin.

Really enjoyed our stay here. A spacious hotel room with functional amenities.

We paid for a lake view room but much of the view was obstructed by other parts of the hotel. The car park was overfull and there are no nearby alternatives due to the location.

Parcheggio gratuito! Ragazzi alla reception gentili e veloci.. camera ristrutturata basica!bella la vista lago! Colazione basica! Peccato sia servita… ho mangiato quasi niente! Consiglio: potete scegliere 5 ingredienti ( createvi la colazione con ciò che vi piace)

Scale un po’ sporche con la moquette!

Das Hotel eignet sich gut für Tagesauflüge um Fort William herum, sofern man ein Auto hat. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, beim Frühstück jedoch mangelhafte koordiniert.

Da das Gebäude alt und einfach gebaut ist, hört man jede Aktivität aus dem Nachbarzimmer. Z.B. Gespräche, fliessendes Wasser, umherlaufen, Fernsehen, usw,. Zum Glück waren meine Nachbarn nach 22:00 Uhr inaktiv. Das WiFi Signal war in Zimmer 138 schwach, nur am Fenster war das Signal ausreichend.

The staff were kind, communicative and very helpful but were clearly under great stress with having to deal with bus loads of people coming in to serve and look after. The location is, without question, in front of Loch Linne (properly spelt in Gaelic - not the abortioned title of ‘linnhe’) and provides a lovely view of Loch and Hills.

The food. The company that owns the hotel Alfa also relies on Holiday Bus Tours for its business. People arrive and only have a choice of two items on the main meal menu with a starter and a desert. However, the quality of the food was so bad that neither myself nor my partner could eat it. I felt sorry for those who were arriving on tour buses who had little choice but to take what was laid out before them.

Disponer de aparcamiento gratuito fue un punto muy positivo. Además, el alojamiento está relativamente cerca de Fort William y se puede llegar fácilmente en coche. El desayuno estaba incluido en el precio, algo que siempre se agradece. En general, descansamos bien y las camas, aunque no eran especialmente destacables, resultaron suficientemente cómodas para una estancia corta.

El establecimiento da la sensación de haber tenido mejores tiempos y actualmente necesita una renovación y un mayor cuidado en varios aspectos. Nuestra habitación daba a una zona trasera poco mantenida, con una pared de piedra cubierta de musgo y vegetación. Al estar tan cerrada, apenas circulaba el aire y la habitación resultaba muy calurosa, especialmente porque no dispone de aire acondicionado. La limpieza también fue mejorable. Había bastantes arañas en el techo, encontramos un insecto en la cama y algunas toallas presentaban manchas visibles. Lo más desagradable fue encontrar restos en el inodoro al llegar a la habitación, algo que genera una muy mala impresión y plantea dudas sobre la revisión de la limpieza antes de la llegada de los huéspedes. Además, el edificio es muy antiguo y se escucha constantemente el ruido de las tuberías, así como el tránsito de personas por los pasillos, lo que resta comodidad. Por último, aunque el desayuno está incluido, la calidad de los productos nos pareció bastante básica y por debajo de lo que esperábamos para el precio pagado.
