"good place with typical japanese experience"

location was great, easy to go around kyoto by bus. We liked the architecture and also the rooms were nice, well equiped and clean. Tatamis floor and futon beds were comfortable. we liked the public bath right next door which was very typical to have full immersive experience.

wall and doors are quite thin, no toilet upstairs.

I really liked the whole house! It was big and had everything you needed. My friends and I had a really comfortable trip in Kyoto. The location is great too - everything is accessible because the train stations and bus stops are only a few minutes' walk away.
