A great base to explore the lakes, but away from the busy hotspots. Two cracking pubs The Watermill at Ings and the Eagle and Child at Staveley are 15mins walk away. Right on the 555 bus route as well.

"Great location lovely cottage"

Very clean and tidy. Good location and brilliant communication from host. Lovely extras like the coffee pods and biscuits.

Parking can be a bit tight. But that's not the host's problem just others parking over.

Love the cosy cottage and easy to access local hikes. Very comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom and brilliant shower. Additional extras like salt and pepper and oil as well as toiletries were very handy to have
