Bobtail Cottage by Woodland Park

Great location. Very comfortable for a short stay. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Property is very quaint with modern decor. Parking outside. Walking distance to a lovely pub.

The noise from the road was a little disturbing at night. The property is old and a musty damp smell came through. Not enough seating for a family to watch tv together but this is due to the house being so small.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, very clean, all facilities that you need for a good stay, comfy beds, very scenic views, good location not far from some shops/garage etc

Unfortunately, the road is a little noisy.

Location was perfect, wonderful hosts, and the right fit for a family of 4. The view from the main bedroom is just postcard perfect. it is a new interiors, very well done. Has a garden which can be used. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting the lakes.

The approach from windmere is a little tricky as the turn is very acute, from the other side it is just fine.

Loved everything

It is a lovely cottage with 2 bedrooms. It is great for a family with 2 children. We had a cot for our 2 year old son, too. Everything is new. It is next to the main road(but not noisy) with free parking, and only a few minutes to Windermere. And the communication is perfect. I had questions, they answered so quickly. Thank you!

Really good location, close to Kendal, Windermere and Ambleside. Well kept and cared for homely property with lovely hosts!

Fantastic little find, very clean and comfortable, as a family of 4 we absolutely loved the place. 5 mins to Windermere and 8 mins to Bowness by car. A few great walks right on the door step, needed to stay longer to enjoy them. 10 minute walk to a very well stocked shop (BP petrol station) with everything we needed, as well as a coffee shop and best of all a lovely village pub, (The Watermill) great food and drink every night. Highly recommend this little cottage compared to many others we have used over the years, definitely coming again, one of the best weekends we have had.
