Unfortunately, our stay at this property did not meet expectations. While the location is convenient, situated in front of the main road, the overall experience left much to be desired. The team lacked qualifications and attention to detail—it felt like they could be working in any job with the same level of effort. Cleanliness was not up to standard, and the rooms were poorly decorated. Even the bathrooms around the pool were in a disastrous state. The property does offer good value for money if you're a backpacker looking for a budget-friendly option, and the pool is genuinely excellent. However, that’s about the only highlight of the stay. Adding pictures of the surroundings would not do justice, as they don't compensate for the issues encountered.

Unqualified Staff: The team seemed untrained and inattentive, as if any other job would yield the same level of performance. Lack of Cleanliness: Both the rooms and shared areas were not well-maintained, leaving a poor impression. Poor Room Decoration: The rooms felt dull and lacked thoughtful design or attention to detail. Terrible Bathrooms Around the Pool: The poolside bathrooms were in a state of disrepair and far from acceptable. Missed Opportunity with Surroundings: The property’s location could have been better highlighted, but even showcasing it with photos felt pointless. Noisy Location: Being right in front of a busy main road, the noise levels can be disturbing, especially for light sleepers. Limited Amenities: Apart from the pool, there aren’t many amenities or services that stand out, making the experience feel incomplete. Inconsistent Value for Money: While it might appeal to budget travelers or backpackers, others might find the overall quality lacking for the price.

Loved this hotel! Location was great near both the city centre and beautiful beaches, room was comfortable and spacious and staff was amazing, always going the extra mile to help you. Bonus track: pool to relax after beach and delicious breakfast

Pool wasn’t super clean (could do with chlorination of the water) , breakfast was incredibly average, overpriced for what it was.

On arrival, we swapped our room to the King Room with Pool View and this is what we are rating in this review. The room was large and light with a nice patio to relax, only a few steps to the beautiful pool and well maintained gardens. The bed was big and very comfortable, the AC was effective and the WiFi worked well for us. Whilst the shower was open sided and the floor nearby got wet, the water was hot. The staff were very friendly & helpful and the communication before arrival was good. We had dinner the first night which was tasty, but our plan did not include breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet area but the 2 restaurants we visited nearby were both excellent. A Tuk Tuk into Aruthgama was only 500 rupees. The manager arranged a taxi transfer to Galle, with a stop at the Tsunami Museum for a reasonable price.

We were very happy with our King Room as our score shows, but we would not have been so generous with the Apartment Ground Floor that we originally booked. This was in the older building and we felt that the kitchen and bathroom were run down and we were disappointed that the patio was being used to store excess furniture.

Staff is courteous. Location is very near the Induruwa beach (Just across the road.. around 100 meters) Food was good at the resort. Not lots of other eating options near by except Lihini Beach Villa which also serves good seafood.

Pool is good but needs more upkeep/ cleaning. Few things in the room were damaged and needs to be replaced. Intercom faciilty needs to be there.

Highly recommended

New building, minimalistic modern style, nice stone floor, huge bed. Each room has its own small area: a terrace with a table or a terrace-balcony with a sunbed. The hotel is located across the street from the beach. The staff is very attentive. We were provided with a transfer from the airport, and then to our next route.
