Location was good, great staff, disappointing breakfast wasn't included

The pool is nice, and the building that’s on all the pictures seems to be nice as well - however, we were put in another building which is in a very bad condition. After asking to stay in the building that’s on the pictures, the lady told us it’s full. We had booked an apartment, which is advertised as one bedroom with a separate living room and kitchen…. What they don’t tell you is that you have to SHARE the apartment space with random other people, so it’s basically a (dirty and empty) common room that’s accessible by everyone. You can’t lock the entrance to the apartment (which makes sense, since you share it with other people). Our balcony did not have any chair or other furniture on it, so it was useless.

Horrible, horrible old building that we had to stay in, looked kind of abandoned with lots of stains on the curtains etc. Breakfast options very limited.

This place is amazing; very comfortable, spacious rooms, excellent food (especially the vegetarian rice&curry with mango chutney) and such nice and friendly people - especially Kiran :) Just a few steps from the astonishing beach!

The train passes by from 5:40 in the morning, it’s very noisy. Even the room shakes.

The location is near the beach... rooms are ultra large and spacious...view from room balcony is terrific...staff is helping

Strongly suggest this charming villa in down South; it's very clean, has a small pool in the backyard, feels cozy & homely overall, and is a quiet, peaceful villa. There are only 11 rooms, thus reservations are required very early and rooms are awesome & fantastic. The proprietor is a very down to earth man, and the service is absolutely perfect and the crew is very good , there is nothing to complain about and waiting to come back.

Great stay. Lovely owners who went above and beyond. They upgraded us for free when we arrived and we had two spacious rooms overlooking the pool. The pool was very clean and we enjoyed the sunbeds and pool towels which were provided. The restaurant food was excellent and the both the western breakfast and srilankan breakfast are highly recommend. We travelled with two children and the staff were very attentive to them and very friendly. They arranged a super tuk tuk guide who took us on a river safari and to nearby restaurants. The beach was right across the road a very easy walk.

The location was beautiful and easily accessible to the beach. The staff were pleasant and they accommodated the extra requests whenever requested! Thank you again!

The kitchen wasn't functional. One of the main reasons to book the stay was to cook for the kid but given that the kitchen wasn't functional we weren't able to. I think they provide a Gas facility if you stay longer Cleanliness - The house was full of ants. Couldn't leave any food in the common area. Please take a look The common area didn't have AC or a fan Can improve the blankets provided.

Hotel is situated between a train track & a street so not too pieceful.
