Lombok Sunset Bay Resort

A wonderful location on a promontory. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the exterior dip pool with each room was excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The resort is relatively isolated at the end of a rough gravel road about 1 km from the main road and 1.5 - 2.0 km from the nearest alternative bar or restaurant. A car or bike is needed to visit such places after dark. A fridge in the room would have been useful and the meals at the kitchen restaurant, while tasty, were quite limited in range.

The staff were fantastic - without exception they were friendly and helpful, with an attitude that made you as a guest feel special. Nice villa with view of the ocean and a great private plunge pool, very well maintained so that the water was always sparkling and clear. It was a great help to have the option of breakfast and dinner available, given the small resort size - limited menu but tasty (mostly) Indonesian food, and very good value. The location is great if you want somewhere quiet, but it is very remote so transport is a must.

A fridge in the room would have been very useful. A little more maintenance needed in places - some rotten or loose boards in the decking by the pool.

When you are looking for a five star hotel - move on. But when you are in for an authentic Lombok accommodation then you are going to love it here! The staff is amazing. The view so soothing and we loved the Sasak music. The food is so simple but amazing! And again the staff is just great! Support them on your journey and have a stay at this quiet place.

TL lights but I don’t like them in general

Service was good. View and pool was excellent. A place just to chill.

There is no restaurant around the villa. Far from everything.

Private pool right in front of you room is great. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff here is absolutely incredible and would do anything to make your stay here as good as possible.

It is impossible to find a nice beach in the area. All very dirty and full of plastic rubish. Beach in front of the hotel is very well cleaned, but the sea is not good for swimming.

It is on a beautiful location with a fantastic view.

The food is poor and you have no choice. The People are kind but are very lazy. The whole day hanging around the office without doing anything. The manager agreed with this but thinks it's an problem that he can't solve.

As name says, hote is located at a cape overlooking bay, with west and north exposure. It’s a small facility with 4 villas and one big villa. Hotel guarantees beautiful views. There 2 beaches at hotel, one rocky and one sandy one however for the latter you will need water shoes to be safe.

Hotel has a couple problems though. It’s not well maintained, equipment is worn off and old. In the evening there was no hot water and their single electricity source is a nearby power generator which caused a couple of blackouts. Hotel has a restaurant but its menu is surprisingly modest. Hotel provides taxi and scooter rental services. In our view it’s not the best choice for longer than 1 night

We loved that it was not busy and only a few people staying on the property. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They organised us island trips.

The mosquitoes in the room but they do supply preventative measures. The lack of selection of food. The beach near the accommodation was not for swimming.

Staff went above and beyond to accomodate my needs. Whether it was providing local recommendations, arranging transportation, or answering my questions, they were always friendly and eager to assist.loved every minute of it
