Blue Moon Hostel

The owner was really cool, they had a ping pong table and got us good prices on shuttles. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a nice common area to hang out and the hostel dog Luna was so cute! Breakfast was good.

We had a private bathroom and it had a smell coming from it.

The man at reception was very kind, welcoming and flexible. He made the check-in easy and had a very relaxed and helpful attitude, which I appreciated. It was always a pleasure to interact with him.

The hostel looks much better in booking.com than in real life. The room was much less pleasant than the photos suggested. The storage area for clothes was too dirty to use. The room was also right next to the common area with the sofa and TV, so it was not very quiet. The bathroom setup gave very little privacy because the window/opening did not close fully, so sound carried very easily. The shower was also difficult to use, as hot water only seemed possible with extremely low pressure. It is also worth noting that payment was cash only, which was inconvenient.

The receptionist was very kind and had a very friendly and relaxed attitude. He was super helpful and always offering ideas and suggestions of things to do, and that part of the experience was positive. Because there were no lockers in the dorm and the room could not be securely locked with a key, he even offered to keep my laptop safely for me, which I appreciated.

The dorm was the most difficult of the rooms I stayed in. There were no lockers, no proper storage space, and no secure way to leave valuables in the room. The room also had a window opening directly onto the ping pong/common area, so it was not very private and noise carried easily. Because of the lack of space, I had to leave my luggage in the common area at one point. When I went back to collect it, I found that my neck pillow had been used to support a bowl/plate with leftover food from one of the guard sleeping there. The common area overall was quite messy, with food remains and personal items left around, which did not give a good impression in terms of cleanliness and organization. Overall, the reality felt quite different from the impression given by the photos on Booking.com. Cash-only payment was also inconvenient.

The man at reception was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. He was friendly, accommodating and made the arrival feel easy. It was always a pleasure interacting with him.

Good location and facilities.

Everything was good.

Clean and comfortable . The host is mostly helpful.

On really busy street with the courtyard open right to the street . Strange hostel with no shared kitchen . Even the microwave and refrigerator isn’t accessible.

Lage

Zimmer dunkel und muffig. Wenig Platz. Es roch penetrant nach Farbe, da das Zimmer 1 Stunde vor Check-in noch gestrichen worden war.

The location is just perfect, th host Idan is really nice , he gave us the best hospitality and guided us through every thing we needed Highly recommended!
