Everything was perfect, the neighborhood, the flat, we had everything we needed ! We got a little problem with an other accomodations when we arrived and Morgan did everything he could to help us, he truly made our trip better and easier for us. We got to visit Korea and Seoul in the best possible way. Thank you again for everything !

Mr. Lee is a very helpful host. The house is clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed.

We had an amazing stay in Seoul! The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our experience special. He allowed us to check in earlier than usual, which was a huge convenience. The location of the house is very close to Hongdae, which is known for its vibrant nightlife and great variety of restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Seoul!

TLDR; Bad bad review, did not stay a single night even though we paid in full. Also quite sure the accommodation buys reviews as the location is really a hike. Unfortunately, we had come at a bad time - the owner had construction downstairs & our door had a lock issue. It is unfortunate that the door lock was spoilt when we tried as it was rusty and apparently could not be closed from the front. The owner wanted us to pay for it which really made us confused because at first we thought not to hold it against him. [Edit: He originally told us it would cost 15,000 KRW but after that told booking.com it would be 350,000KRW. I can't believe what he tried to pull on us.] We did not stay but opted for a different stay after especially due to the discomforting messages he made. We wanted to really get past this because it really was the start of the trip. Still, he disputed our refund despite seemingly agreeable & sorry to the situation at first... so that's why we even have to warn other people now. To be honest, we would have been ok with a refund & crediting this to like a series of unfortunate events (at first owner really seemed like a nice guy) but now we know it might not have been sincere of him either. Bus strikes happened in the area too so we were thankful to have moved. Bear in mind even objectively & factually it is very very far even from the bus stop. You would need to lug your luggage from the bus stop through the neighbourhood. I do not think we wanted response but yes this is all true & we did not stay but still had to pay in full so it's only fair you know that DESPITE expecting that we might not get our money back, we chose not to stay.

It's not fair to expect your guests to feel like massive construction & drilling below + a door that first cannot lock from the outside & was actually rusty. Guests are here on holiday... like all of them, we just wanted to have a safe & good time & both were compromised. Owner scared us too... For example, he mentioned in anger that he fixed the door alone... which I don't understand what he expected us to do about his own place. Please, think TWICE!! We wish we did.

This accommodation offers a very hospitable and friendly atmosphere. Our host, Mr. Morgan Lee, was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to assist us, especially when our flight was postponed and we needed to reach the subway quickly; he helped us once again, just as he did on our first day. The rooms are well-equipped and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bus stop is just a 5-minute walk away, and there are several grocery stores nearby, making it very convenient. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Our host Mr Lee was so kind and generous, and he showed us all the best spots around the neighbourhood. The apartment was very clean and the heating was great. The kitchen was great and he provided free soy sauce and salt for cooking.

The location is slightly far away, but is it very easy and cheap to get a bus straight to the center of town so overall not a problem.

I really liked this place. Quite comfortable and warm. It’s also conveniently located very close to market stores and bus stops, and at a reasonable distance from main attractions in the city. It works quite well for a solo traveler. The owner was very friendly and helpful when I needed help.

Everything was absolutely perfect. You will sleep so good in this very nice and confortable place. The host do his best to make your stay perfect. The localisation is very nice. The house is very quiet and you can fine a lot of good restaurants next and it's very good connect to the center of Séoul. Everything was absolutely perfect and I strongly recommend this host and home to the booking community.
