Salt Life Gili Trawangan

Location was close to the centre and it was clean.

The mosque was super loud at 4am and the bathroom smelled really bad.

Salt Life is a lovely place with wonderful staff and a fantastic location. It’s close to the main street but just a 5-minute walk away, making it convenient yet peaceful. The rooms are clean, and the overall atmosphere is great for relaxing. However, be prepared for early morning prayers at 4:30 am that are extremely loud and long. I’ve traveled through many Muslim countries over the past two years, but this was by far the loudest and longest prayer I’ve ever experienced. It even seemed to get longer each day, so don’t expect to sleep in. Despite this, the stay was enjoyable, and there’s a delightful local warung nearby that serves delicious, affordable meals. I ate there twice a day—it was that good! If you’re an early riser or have earplugs, Salt Life is a great choice.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help room is really basic but bed was comfy and the room is clean the aircon working well there was free water refill station just outside the room and 2 really cute cats

Close to the mosque but nothing they can do beside its a muslim island 🙏🏾
