The location and the host

The neighbourhood was not good at all and the building was a nightmare.

Loved the accommodation. Great location - close to the centre. Had all the needed facilities. The host was very helpful and quick in responding to messages, allowed us to chech-in earlier. Perfect place for a few nights.

Was a bit cold, but there was a functioning heater so it was completely fine.

- The host was super friendly, and even though English wasn't a strength he managed to communicate with us. He was very attentive and responded very fast to any inconvenience we might have had. - The location is great! - The heater from the room was short circuiting the first night, but when flagged, the host went to buy a new one and solved the issue.

- Dishes and mugs were dirty even though they were "wet" as if they were recently cleaned. - The sofa bed was dirty when we opened it, there were food crumbs in it. - The bathroom had a constant very bad smell. - There was some (opened) leftover food in the cabinets. - The part that needs opening in the sofa bed is somewhat broken because it was tilting down, so either the two people had to smush together on one side of the sofa, or the second person had to hold tight to the first not to fall into the floor. - Internet was modest. - The water heated stopped working after a while so the last person always had to shower in cold water. - The heater from the room was short-circuiting the first night, but when flagged, the host went to buy a new one and solved the issue.

Very central location. Only a few minutes worth of walk away from Deak square and Astoria metro stations! Places like Kiraly utca and Gozsdu udvar are similarly close. Despite being in a very touristy district, the place is remarkably quiet thanks to its inward orientation. You can use an elevator for easy access. The apartment is well maintained, clean, modern and nicely furnished. It comes with a kitchen&dining area as well as a separate double bedroom. Both areas have their own windows, so there is plenty of natural light. Even in november..

Considerable amount of rubbish on the ground near the main entrance of the building. Homeowners association should do something about it!

Location was great, host was super helpful and friendly. The apartment need a bit of update but it was fine. Special thanks for the super tasty coffee in the morning, it was a Godsend.

There is nothing I didn't like.
