HOM Roma

Very comfortable, double bed. The staff were all really sweet and helpful. I’d come from another place that I had to leave because it was so bad and this place was so much better. The location was excellent! Great price too and the size of the room was really big.

The bathroom could have been a lot cleaner and there is a lot of noise coming from the laundry room. Wear ear plugs! When I did I slept really well. I wish there had been a bedside lamp.

Room was super basic but so was the price. Free water refills. Great location

Staff were nice and there were kitchen facilities.

Location was great

Staff cleaned the kitchen for ~2 hours during lunch time (11-1pm), meaning we couldn’t cook during peak lunch time. At first when we tried to cook at 12, they said another 30 mins, and then at 12:30pm, they said another 30 mins. Cleaning times of the kitchen should be outside of meal times otherwise having a kitchen is useless. Thankfully this only happened 1 out of 9 of our days stay there.

Great location if you're interested in exploring new restaurants, cafés, & unique foods. youre in walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, bars, etc. just a few blocks from both the trolebús & the metrobús, although a bit farther for a metro stop. the price was reasonable for the location. I also liked that you could enter the hostal at anytime since reception is not 24 hrs, they provide secure codes to enter (as well as keys).

the installations are very clearly outdated, the sliding doors in the showers would get stuck often. the overall vibe of the hostal is more like a hotel, not really social generally, & the common area is very small so it can feel a bit tight. the room was also very small compared to the HOM Balderas location (which is a bit cheaper). if you are just looking for a place to stay w basic amenities like a fridge, stove, private room & a pretty good location then this place is a fine choice

The location is great. There is a big locker to store your belongings. The beds have a curtain. There is a kitchen. The personal was very friendly.

The room is literally giving its window over the kitchen, so no intimacy and can be noisy. The kitchen is pretty old school, especially the sink, and it could benefit more items such as a pot to boil water (there were only pans)

We had a pretty big room, the facilities were always clean and the patio on the third floor was such a bonus!! Amazing place to have breakfast or a drink in the afternoon! The staff were lovely as well and asked us if we needed any extra blankets because of the cold.

The place was pretty old so some of the facilities were dated or probably just need updating, i.e. The shower on the top floor had pretty low pressure and took forever to heat up.

It was a bit cold at night on the top floor but they gave us as many blankets as we wanted. And the water pump made some noice. In the room itself it was fine though
