"Tuscan experience: beautiful house perched upon a hill"

What a joy it was to stay at Podere il Poggio. Fabio and Lorenzo were wonderful, the view was amazing, the house was spotless, spacious and cool. Even though it wasn’t that hot outside, the kids enjoyed the very clean pool. The house is perched upon a hill with a windy road leading to it. Lucca, Firenze and the mountains are all within close distance. But the property itself is so inviting for a day of just doing nothing. WiFi was installed when we were there. We received some very nice biscottis and desert wine upon arrival and when we left we made sure buy the home made olive oil, it is so yummy! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The Owner and his family are so friendly. The view is amazing. There is the cutest cat on earth comming to cuddle with you. We had an amazing time and visited San Gimignano, Florenz and Lucca. It is a great spot and we will defenetly come back some time. Thanks for everything.

"Exceptional"

As soon as we arrived we found ourselves on a beautiful mountain top with views of Montecatini and Tuscan hills. The host, Fabio, and his son, Lorenzo, gave us the warmest welcome I've ever had whilst staying in Italy. The house is 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms with an additional toilet and has a fantastic outdoor area and pool with the most amazing view. The house was exceptionally clean and the hosts left us 2 bottles of wine and there own homemade olive oil. The hosts were extremely attentive and made sure we had anything we needed and the house is fully stocked with anything you'd need on your holiday with kitchen utensils to games, it was like a home from home. There is no WiFi but for this type of holiday you don't need it, this place is purely for relaxing. You will definitely need a car as you are at the top of a high mountain and will need lots of mosquito repellents and sprays. There was no AC however they provided fans for each bedroom. Overall I would highly recommend this place, thankyou to our hosts for a wonderful holiday!
