The room provided a wonderful space to enjoy, while the pub went out of their way to accommodate us - despite a very busy evening. This extended to breakfast where we were made to feel hugely valued and welcome. I’d recommend this to anyone.

A couple of small things were missed in cleaning the accommodation.

Welcoming friendly staff and very comfortable apartment

This is a beautiful well appointed apartment above the pub. Wood burning fire, great kitchenette spacious and clean. It’s was getting late in the day tired from driving all day from Scotland and booked at the last minute. Enjoyed a beautiful pub meal in a real authentic English style pub. Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing apartment next to the pub. Really nicely fitted out. Fab pub, roaring fire and dog friendly

The apartment just needed stuff like dog bowls, kitchen utensils etc. The steps up to it are steep so it's not good for people or animals that find stairs tricky.

Very spacious and well equipped apartment. The owners were really friendly and accommodating people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our food and hospitality in the pub downstairs too. The log fires and traditional building were delightful.

Superb room, very spacious, more a small apartment than a room including lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom Located in traditional local pub selling good ales. We booked an evening meal which was excellent evening. Friendly approachable staff

Minimal breakfast provision- just cereal packets, a little bit of milk, and instant coffee. Really didn’t match the quality of the rest of our stay
