The Green Dragon

Loved that it was right above the pub, we were able to have drinks in the accommodation and staff were super friendly/helpful when it came to looking for a taxi!

In a very rural area!

We stayed for a wedding nearby and had a lovely stay at the Green Dragon. Huge shout out to John for letting us get in earlier than planned so we could get to and from the wedding without a hitch!

Very relaxed. Huge one bedroom flat with kitchenette and dining table, sofas and wood burner. The very very pizza pizza we have ever eaten. Full English breakfast excellent.

Shame about the old lorries opposite but inside the pub a happy hub, friendly locals

Really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing food and great service. We were staying for a wedding and they couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful with ironing boards and hairdryers, et cetera.

We were travelling with another couple and didn’t realise we’d be sharing an apartment. This was absolutely fine apart from the single bathroom, which was an ideal when getting ready for a wedding

We were a lot later than expected due to traffic and we expected that being a smaller pub it would be bustling with locals and there would be nowhere to sit. When we arrived we found that they had reserved a table for us - we were starving and really appreciated this gesture. When we got to the room, we found we had access to a whole apartment, which was even better with kitchen facilities should we need them. They’d even lit the fire to make sure the room was toasty warm!!! We were headed to a wedding the next day and my partner wanted to ensure he had a full stomach, and we were a little concerned being that it was Easter Sunday that nowhere would be open. The host mentioned that he was doing Sunday lunch prep and he would happily make breakfast for us. Lo and behold we had an amazing full English breakfast made for us which was fabulous. This was extra, but this wasn’t a problem for us, as we expected we would be going somewhere or seeking breakfast out anyways! I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and although we only came to the area for a family wedding, the Green Dragon is a gem that shouldn’t be missed if you’re in the area!!

Lovely village location near to public footpaths for dog walks. The flat is so nice and clean..... Bedroom cosy and shower good! A nice place to stop!! Good communication from the host :)
