The place was beautiful, large apartment, well equipped, very friendly owner...

So much! The location was gorgeous. The beds were comfy. The bathrooms spacious with all the necessary facilities. The food provided was delicious. The extra towels and decanter of water a kind touch. The hosts were so sweet and prompt with their replies. We loved their little dog so much!

The bugs on the property were quite large. The traps effectively killed them upon entry - but anyone who has a fear of bugs may need to be pre-warned.

Among all the rentals we have enjoyed in Portugal over the years, this was one of the two best. The host family (parents, daughter, puppy Charlotte) received us with unparalleled kindness, generosity and affection. The apartment, rented for 17 days, is spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped, perfect in every way. Located on a magnificent country property, it opened for us the dramatic history of the Azores archipelago as well as its dynamic present. When an important religious pilgrimage procession stopped at the property, we were kindly welcomed to the celebration. As we left for the airport yesterday, we were accompanied to the gate and presented with gifts as reminders of our remarkable experience.

The house is well located, immaculate, and equipped with everything you need. The owners welcomed us with local food and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay.

This was our favorite stay on Sao Miguel. The property was wonderful, the hosts met us and provided us with a welcome basket of snacks and got us a little present as it was our anniversary. The grounds were wonderful, my daughter especially enjoyed the swing (with it's ocean view).

This is a fantastic place and the couple who run it are wonderfully caring. Everything worked perfectly. The only sad thing was that we had so little time there, only one night, as we had to catch an early morning flight. So we never saw the garden in daylight.

Ana was absolutely wonderful! Friendly and available! The place is big, yet cozy.

The mansion was wonderful. The garden was exceptional with a lot of beautiful plants and flowers and little animals. The environment was quiet. Our apartment was spacious, with nice traditional furniture, very well equipped kitchen and clean. We had a fantastic time at Ana’s house. They were very friendly and their hospitality was exceptional. Thank You for having Us. We would definitely come back next time.
