Walls are like paper. You can hear absolutely anything of the next apartment (if everyone is respectful there shouldn't be any problems) The entrance area to the apartment is quite dirty. I know it's a bit out of control to the owner, but it doesn't give a super good impression.

La struttura è molto pulita, piccola, accogliente. Si trova vicino ai campi di riso in una zona silenziosa e tranquilla, lontano dal caos della città, ma allo stesso tempo in una posizione strategica. Il centro è raggiungibile coi mezzi in pochi minuti, mezz’ora circa a piedi se avete voglia di camminare! La zona è ben servita: centro di massaggi, warung vicino con buona cucina tradizionale, servizi per affittare scooter, per organizzare gite…è tutto comodo. I gestori sono persone gentilissime e vi possono aiutare per qualunque cosa: transfert, visite, lavanderia etc

Fabulous stay in Pondok Kayu Batu! Very clean, very nice people and a lovely pool. Just outside the busy centre of Ubud. Its a 20 minute walk or just take a cheap Grab. (Which also takes 20 minutes because of the traffic in Ubud) No breakfast buy small outside kitchen available and 2 or 3 restaurant on the corner to enjoy breakfast.

There's no breakfast but you know that when booking.

Pondu Kayu Batu is so beautiful. Once you walk through the gate it’s a tropical oasis where you feel instantly at home. The gardens are stunning, the villas are spacious and comfortable. If you feel like cooking, there’s a kitchen with everything you could want. Kadek is so lovely, and makes sure you have everything you need every day. It’s away from the super busy part of Ubud, but close enough to be really convenient. There are two restaurants within three minutes walk so you don’t need to go far.

Nothing. It’s perfect!

I loved this place. I extended my stay here and if I could extend it more I would have done it. The environment is very relaxing and the hosts are very kind and flexible. I can't recommend this place more. On top of that the pool is beautiful and the bed comfortable.

Nothing really

This place is honestly great! I’m so glad I stayed here for a full week. It was a relaxing haven away from the hustle bustle of Ubud while being close enough to make visiting town nice and easy. Kadek looked after me and the place so well. She really cares and takes pride in making the guests feel comfortable and welcome. The facilities are excellent with drinking water and a lockable drawer in my room. I will certainly stay here again next time I visit Ubud.

Once the road gets repaired that will be better. At the moment there are some puddles to navigate on the way to the property but it wasn't a problem.

Everything - how calm it is yet still close to Ubud center.
