- Smooth check-in - Beautiful property in what would otherwise be a quiet area - Helpful owners who offered a pro-rated refund - Massa Fitness nearby and some well-priced, pleasant restaurants

- Construction noise starting at 8 AM made it impossible to stay - Lost an entire day dealing with refunds and finding a new place - Guests should be informed about the ongoing construction in advance - Renting a scooter is necessary, but avoid renting from their friend—rude service, poor-quality scooters, and dirty helmets

A beautiful place with wonderful hosts. Kedek and Aris are so helpful. The place is spotless, there is a lovely pool cleaned every day and a kitchen so you can make your own food. Access to ubud is easy.

We had a lovely stay at Pondok Kayo Batu. Kadek and her family were really kind and helpful. The location is great, right on the edge of Ubud so close to everything but not too busy. The rooms are very nice and clean, comfortable and have character. We will stay here again and recommend to friends

We booked 2 rooms for our family and it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Kadek and her son Ares are the sweetest and the kindest hosts. We ordered vegetarian breakfast and loved her cooking. They were very responsive and helpful. Rooms were very clean and quite spacious to keep big suitcases and make ourselves at home. The common kitchen was a great addition and a nice hangout for our family. We rented motorbikes very close to the home and used it to get around to goa Gajah and other Ubud attractions

The host is amazing. My mom does not speak English and she took great care of my mom.

My mom saw lizard in the bathroom. That’s probably the only thing not satisfactory.

Cozy and clean.

During our stay, we felt completely at home. It’s an incredible place to enjoy the pool and the beautifully maintained garden. Kadek, the host, is incredibly friendly and even helped us rent a motorcycle on-site. The room is lovely and impeccably clean. Without a doubt, this is a place I would highly recommend and one we will definitely return to.

A very comfortable and unique guesthouse in a generally quiet and central location. The pool provided a cool refresh. Kadek was a most welcoming and helpful host. A very pleasant stay.

The place is amazing, even better that the photos and the hosts are so kind and helpful. We had the breakfast prepared for us once as well and it was very good. The villa is in the rice fields so away from the traffic and the noises.

A small place, very quiet, rice fields, wonderful. i’ll be back!
