The Bali Resort Zanzibar

Had a lovely-beautiful stay at The Bali Resort Zanzibar. Beautiful room and beautiful scenery outside with nice amenities. Very Friendly staff whom offer great service!! They also made our taxi transfers(transport) from the hotel to our excursions very seamless, until the very end of our trip [thank you]. The restaurant [also lovely!!] - Good food, good music, good service and beautiful view of the pool. There are board games and Shisha, which we enjoyed. The chicken and pineapple pizza was very delicious.

The breakfast wasn’t a choice at all, it was the same everyday. Disappointment.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bali resort—it truly felt like being in Bali. The resort was peaceful, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. My facial was fantastic, the food was exceptional, and every moment felt carefully curated. While there’s no direct beach access, the private beach just two minutes away was a delightful surprise and made up for it completely. A truly wonderful experience—we would definitely return!

While our stay was fantastic, there are a couple of areas for improvement. It would be great to see milk alternatives available for those who are lactose intolerant, as I wasn't able to enjoy my daily coffee because of this. Additionally, the gym equipment could benefit from more frequent cleaning, especially given the humidity, which can lead to rust. Regular maintenance would help keep the equipment in good condition and ensure a better experience for guests.

Very nice and quiet pool area, and nice restaurant with very good seafood. Room of high quality as well. Nice staff, always with a smile on their faces. Convenient that the resort had a tuktuk+driver available for guests as well.

No direct access to the beach, however convenient with a tuktuk with driver for driving to the beach.

Mornings began with a delightful breakfast offering a variety of delicious options, while lunch and dinner consistently featured fresh and amazing dishes. The chicken pizza became my favorite late-night indulgence. The staff’s constant smiles and friendly demeanor made me feel truly at home. Their attentiveness and genuine care were evident throughout my stay. During my visit, they discovered it was my birthday and went out of their way to celebrate it in a special manner, bringing tears to my eyes and immense joy to my heart. For anyone in need of a beautiful, peaceful retreat in Zanzibar, this is the place to be. I cherished every moment of my stay and eagerly look forward to returning.

Excellent place, modern, super clean, outstandingly well run by Mimi, great facilities, delicious food, amazing pool and super caring stuff. You get excellent return for every penny you spend. Highly recommended!

Breakfast delay at 07:30 08:00… it was good but could improve the services

The hotel is super new, the facilities are very good and very friendly staff. They offer easy access to the beach on the hotels nearby, and the beach is gorgeous and very quiet.

Food is very good, but the breakfast was at least 30 minutes late everyday, and ordering from the menu for dinner it also took a long time to be ready

Lovely place located just away from the busy streets. Would recommend. Not too far from everything, small taxi ride into Paje which is much busier. Private beach offered from hotel is 12/10. Hotel looks lovely very clean and well kept. Nice rooms.

Service is polite but a little slow, but this seems to be all over Zanzibar. Very relaxed

Nice serene environment with very friendly staff and management team lead by Mimi that make you feel comfortable and at home away from home. It’s a new place and we enjoyed our stay. They helped to organise excursions to see different places on the island as well as sample different restaurants nearby. Great effort made to provide Christmas Eve and Christmas Day entertainment and special dinner menu. The spa experience was fantastic and highly recommended.

Newly opened resort and like all startups had a few teething issues. The remarkable thing is that whenever this was raised with the staff or management they were quick to respond and also provide alternative solutions. It was nice to experience some of the transformation during our stay.
