I can't fault this cottage in any way... the decor was finished to a high standard, a lot of it gave the impression of new or well looked after.. very spacious inside- the village was lovely and quiet and we didn't realise just how close we were to the gorge itself (which was a happy bonus), owners very friendly and very responsive to messages! 10 out 10 all round!! Would be happy to stay again!

Perfect location, close to two pubs, plenty of places to eat out and roughly 20 min from Cheddar Gorge. House was beautifully decorated, and appointed. We were all very comfortable, and slept very well. Our dog was very happy and settled here. Fantastic communication- warm, friendly but professional. Already rebooked for next year.

Our stay at Purdie Close was just perfect, beautifully decorated and homely feel. We had 6 adults - with 3 double bedrooms , we had loads of space. All amenities within walking distance, friendly pubs, Italian, Greek and fish and chip restaurants. … and the biggest bar of chocolate as a welcome gift ! The hosts were so welcoming and on hand if anything needed ( not that we need anything) . Would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the area. Will honestly be going back for another stay.

The location was excellent. House was absolutely perfect and beautifully presented 👌 Very comfortable, everything needed for a family break away. Hosts were very friendly and helpful 😊

A beautifully appointed house furnished to a very high spec. Location perfect for us. It's so close to the village at the gorge. We will be returning!

Wow! A true home from home and……what a fab location!! The house is beautiful and the attention to detail creates a lovely warm welcome. Defo going to go back one day!

It is a lovely house in a great location which was perfect for our needs. Everything in the house was great. The pub three doors down was v friendly but doesn't serve food. However, the town is a short walk away with plenty of pubs and eateries. We really liked the decor! Everything was thought of for our needs. Nikita is very friendly and approachable. If we visit Cheddar again, we would definitely stay here again.
