Dolphin Bay Beach Resort

Lovely clean comfortable rooms. We only had a 2 night stay but I'd happily stayed longer. It was quiet and relaxing. The food was good, staff great and helpful. I thought we might end up with bogs in our room as there was a bit of a gap at the top of the door, but we didn't see any.

Nothing, the hotel was great. The area is very quiet, it would have been good if there was a shop nearby, but it wasn't really a problem.

My partner and I really liked this hotel and had a great stay. We stayed here for two weeks in March. The staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. We even got the opportunity to take a cooking class together with the staff, which was a really nice experience. The breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The bed was comfortable—better than what we’ve experienced in general in Thailand. You could also request a mattress topper if you found it too hard. The room was good overall. The shower worked well, although it was a bit difficult to adjust the temperature. The balcony was a good size, but one downside was that there wasn’t much of a divider between neighboring balconies. WiFi worked well in all areas of the hotel. The gym was small but had everything you need for a basic workout. The pool was clean and nice, and perfect for swimming a few laps. However, since this is a family-friendly hotel, it can get a bit noisy around the pool area. The hotel also has a few sunbeds by the beach, which was nice. The area was very calm and peaceful, with cows and chickens behind the hotel, which added a charming, local feel. There were also a few good restaurants nearby.

Some services felt a bit overpriced, such as the scooter rentals.

This was a return visit as I think the resort provides an excellent venue for a relaxing stay whether for couples or families. The staff are very welcoming, the pools are great, the breakfast is very good and the onsite restaurant is excellent.

View, nice and quiet. Few nice places along the beach. Staff is amazing. Super clean.

Getting here and out always needs a taxi. Grab is very difficult to get.

The location is excellent with plenty of sun loungers on the beach and around the pool. Breakfast is served under cover but with open sides so try as they may there's nothing to stop birds eating from the same buffet. The air-conditioning in our room was poor. The only way we knew it was on was because of the noise.

Wir hatten einen Bungalow am Pool und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Beschäftigen waren immer sehr freundlich. Der tolle Garten wurde sehr gepflegt. Im Pool kann man sehr gut schwimmen. Am Wochenende war eine Kindergeburtstagsfeier, da war es natürlich lebhaft mit 40 Gästen, aber sehr lustig. Im Restaurant haben wir sehr gut gegessen, etwas teurer als außerhalb aber alles war sehr lecker. Die Pizza war allerdings nicht unsere.

Die Anlage ist gut. Die Räume vom Bungalow eine passende Größe. Das Bad ist sauber und das Bett bequem. Das Frühstück ist ok, bzw ausreichend. Die beiden Pools sind gut in der Größe und im Zustand. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. 👍

Bei den Bungalows handelt es sich nicht um Single Bungalows, sondern es sind pro Bangalow immer 2 Apartments. Was grundsätzlich OK ist. Aber sie sind leider ein wenig hellhörig und man hört von den Nachbarn zum Teil mehr als einen lieb ist. Das Restaurant am Abend ist nicht schlecht, insofern man daran denkt, dass es ein Restaurant für Farangs ist. Wirklich originale Thai-Küche findet man eh nicht direkt am Sam Roi Yet Beach, sondern muss dafür eher in die "second road" fahren.
