lovely hosts a fantastic breakfast and view from the breakfast room an amazing array of fruit in the fruit bowl thanks so much for that oh and the pancakes were amazing too

only managed to get one shower before it ran cold but I suppose the location of the property has something to do with that

Would have liked the bathroom to be en-suite. My mistake really as it said private bathroom and I thought that meant en-suite

The breakfast was the best I've had, freshly cooked to order, homemade bread and proper pot of tea. The view from the table was amazing and host was professional, friendly, welcoming and had great attention to detail. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated room. A proper hair dryer and lovely smelling toiletries. A quiet, restful place. Take note of the comprehensive directions given by the host, the roads can be interesting if you follow the stat nav and perhaps challenging in poor weather.

I can find nothing to fault, the only thing I noticed in the silence of the night was the clock ticking.

Very comfortable bed, very clean and the owners had put a lot of thought into providing lots of little extras. Breakfast choice was impressive, we opted for pancakes which were delicious. The location was wonderful except for the snow, which was lovely to look out not so nice to drive in. The breakfast was taken in a conservatory with amazing views.

Snow

The guest house is lovely, warm and welcoming - Ian was waiting for me to arrive and the extra directions he sent came in useful as I arrived after dark. Although a couple of miles from the centre, I was able to get a taxi easily both ways. Coffee machine in the room a lovely touch, as is the robes! The breakfast was amazing and was ready for me when I was the next morning. The view for brekkie was a nice extra! Thanks for the welcome Ian and Lilija, I will definitely be back so I can try the bath!
