The Swinside Inn

Perfect location, comfy room, great food and friendly staff.

Nothing to dislike about the hotel but be aware, this is a dog friendly hotel and we did encounter barking dogs in rooms and the restaurant. Which is a tad annoying.

The restaurant was closed for the 2 nights we were there, but it all worked out as we received excellent recommendations for nearby places for dinner

Once again we had a fantastic stay at the Swinside. The staff even remembered us after we stayed a year ago! The room was brilliant, smelt amazing! Food 10/10 and just around a great stay, thank you!

For some reason in mid May the radiators were on? Our room got very hot in the evening and morning so I have a disturbed sleep

One of my favourite places to stay - the setting, the view, the rooms, the staff, the food are all excellent.

The staff went above and beyond for me and my girlfriend and the service was brilliant and we will definitely be returning. The food, drinks, view and room were all brilliant. There was a minor issue with the room but nothing that stopped us from staying in it and the manager gave us complimentary drinks and a £40 voucher off of our next stay which we'll be looking to use in the next couple of months. The location is quiet and scenic and the food is great as well. Would recommend to anyone wanting a staycation in the lakes.
