Sulu Sunset Beach Resort

This is the most relaxing place I been to in the Philippines. The beach is incredible and the resort is just perfect. Now I know where to go if I need a timeout.

Everything! Best place I’ve stayed in the Philippines so far! Felt like I was on my honeymoon as soon as I arrived! Such a relaxing tranquil place, empty beaches, great food, super friendly staff, loved the room, didn’t want to leave, 3 days just wasn’t enough!

the location and the bungalow are beautiful

this is a place for Germans Having parties and drinking bear, not for travellers. The owner was not welcoming, I paid more money than booking.com had shown, only a few euro, but in principle that is not correct.

Right on Sugar Beach, so can go swimming anytime you want. Room had a bungalow feel, but was really the size of a hotel room. Nice sized porch too. Tried a wide variety of the food and all was good. Typical restaurant prices, but good sized portions. Staff were all pleasant. They also arranged a boat tour for us.

We found this place by coincidence while doing a road trip around Negros by car. You can really get stuck here, we booked for 2 nights, but came back for another 3 nights a few days after because we felt so well. Sugar beach is one of the best beaches for swimming I've seen in the Philippines, soft sand and great sunsets. The owner Jogi is an entertaining guy, always looking after his guests and easy to talk to. The restaurant and bar area is a chill place to hang out, you can really forget time here and live between swimming, hammock, sunsets and cold beer. 😊
