One bed was unclean. The blinds are all broken, spider webs the bins outside were over flowing with rubbish littered over the ground. Blinds not covering windows correctly

Good communication from the host.

The pictures on the listing were not representative of the property. The property had loose plug sockets, exposed lighting fixtures, no smoke alarms and remained unfinished decoratively as skirting boards were missing with cracks and holes throughout. The rubbish bins were over flowing also. TV has no signal so you had to have a Netflix subscription to watch anything (luckily we did). Overall it felt shabby and run down for the price it felt to a lesser standard to similar listings. I booked this in November 2024 and do not believe the reviews posted at that time were legitimate or representative of the property. Several were 10/10 and objectively speaking I cannot see how these scores could be given.

Very clean and spacious.

However, the bathroom was really cramped and so was downstairs loo. Aside from that would recommend property as all else was good.

Very good location for RHS show. Kitchen facilities good and house was clean. Nice white towels. Good, clear communication from owners.

House has had some rennovations but not finished entirely. Tiny sink on top of toilet cistern in upstairs bathroom so very difficult to wash / clean teeth. Very few plug sockets in bedrooms, would benefit from extension leads so all provided lamps could be plugged in and phones etc charged.

Smoke alarms removed, nothing PAT tested and therefore a death trap!. Plus dodgy electrics, dirty, mis-advertised as photos do not show poor state of repair, blinds don't fit windows, noisy council estate location with dogs barking and people shouting, waste bins in drive overfilled, gardens neglected with derelict looking accomodation/shed in garden, sink over toilet - hard to use and very small. No freeview TV available only subscription apps. Views none existent unlike advert although you do overlook the garden, not that you would want to look at it. There was broken glass on drive where you park car. I could go on and on.

Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds, good location. Nice to have onsite parking.

Easy Accessable and modern.

Area wasn’t great however it didn’t affect the property or stay.

It was simple to gain entry but then it was downhill from there.

The place was filthy, sticky floors, smelly kitchen and bathroom. The bath moves and has raw edged tiles, there are screws sticking out on the carpet transitions which is dangerous, the garage is falling down (it has a dilapidated roof with holes- again, dangerous) the skirting is missing and the kitchen cupboard carcasses are rotten. Damp above windows, all windows are blown so you can see out much, the area is shocking- dogs barking and quad bikes out all night. We were opposite a drugs den with boarded up windows and people coming and going all night long. Holes in ceiling, it's been painted white over cigarette stains so stinks, the blinds don't cover the windows, the latch is broken on the front door, there is no iron even though one is advertised, mold on walls covered with bad wallpapering job. Unfinished flooring and toilet and sink hanging off the wall. The bath moves when you climb in and the shower has broken plastic. Don't stay here. It's dangerous. The Internet doesn't work and the TV is not connected so although it switches on, you can't watch anything. Sockets hanging off the wall.

Good value for money, well decorated and comfy beds. Fit for purpose, me and my friends did enjoy our stay there

It wasn’t the cleanest of places for example the floors were very dirty and after being there for 20 mins our white socks were filthy. We couldn’t see smoke alarms or carbon monoxide alarms which made us feel a bit unsafe. The one from the upstairs landing you could see had been taken down, but apart from that we had a lovely stay

Looks like it’s mid renovation. Decor poor and diy jobs a bit primitive!
