Lakes Edge Lodge

Great proximity to the lake and to town. Decent kitchen setup, and bbq. Beds were comfortable, except for the heat in the room.

The cabin is small and was extremely hot! Had to sleep with the door and windows open along with a small fan supplied. Toilet and shower arrangement is a bit inconvenient but they were decent nonetheless. Overpriced for what you get.

The location was fabulous, in front of beautiful Lake Tekapo. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well equiped.

We stayed at the backpackers lodge and the room was extremely crumpted with a small window. Smallest than a camp cabin. There were too many people staying at the lodge and they were loud all throughout the night and left the kitchen a mess to use in the morning. The price we paid was very high for the services we received.

The location is beautiful!

They don’t provide towels, or at least I wasn’t aware if they did. There was also no prior instructions or communication as to where to arrive since the reception is at a separate location. They have signs everywhere about trespassers that makes it feel intimidating and not welcoming.

La ventana de la habitación no tenía mosquitera.

I like the location.

Facilities were provided like milk or coffee or tea packs. Moreover, the shower gel was not coming out of the container and I have to open it to make it work.
