AUBeautiful mountain views right from the bed, perfectly located at the end of the road just in front of the Balcony Walk trail. The room was spacious and spotless, with excellent AC/heating, reliable Wi-Fi, comfy bed and pillows, and a large glass door/window showcasing an incredible view. The shower had great water pressure and stayed nicely warm. Friendly staff and convenient on-site parking. Breakfast and dinner are available for 5 OMR each per person, even during Ramadan. Highly recommended.
A visible sign with the hotel’s name would be helpful, though there are only a few properties in the area so it’s not hard to find.

NLAmazing view of the sunrise, great that it is at the start of the Balcony walk, beautiful sunset views also and the most amazing part is Ram. The host at Panorama Guesthouse. Serene and welcoming energy, great chef and he made us feel at home.
GBExceptionally friendly and helpful staff- very welcoming and accommodating of dietary requirements (peanut allergy and vegan!) Perfectly located for the balcony walk, with amazing views from the dining area and room. We stayed for two nights and were very comfortable and well looked after. We paid 5 OMR per person per meal which we paid on departure. I can really recommend staying here.
The bathroom was slightly draughty and the drains smelt ever so slightly in there - this is however not unreasonable given the mountain location!
USEverything was great Ram manages the property & is the resident chef. Delishous meals. Promply responds to anything you need. Really makes you feel at home. Parking is inside the courtyard gate Omani owned property owner is from the village. Supporting locally owned is always my traveling goal I walked past or drove past my other considerations for Jebel Shams 2 night visit while here...this is the right choice! The photos don't due justice to this property

GBRoom was nicely done with a beautiful view over the canyon. Only a few meters from the start of the balcony rim hike. Very friendly staff made us feel right at home. Sunrise views right from the room. Sunset, just a 50 meter walk.
The wifi was spotty and the meals were more expensive than other similar places we stayed...but it is remote at the top of the mountain, so what do you expect?

- Maybe I would try to make the terrace even better improving its atmosphere. - Crystal windows are not 100% sealed, so night wind chills the room
