Good location

This flat was absolutely filthy, and it ruined what was meant to be a relaxing weekend with friends. All of the floors and surfaces were visibly dirty, stained and dusty. The fridge was full of crumbs and dirt, to the point that we had to dismantle the shelves and clean it out before putting any food in it. There was dirt in the cupboards, which we also had to wipe out before use. The crockery was dirty, so we had to re-wash everything before use. There were stains on the bedding, towels, and on the seating in the living room. There wasn't even any handsoap in the bathroom. My friends and I had to go out and purchase cleaning supplies, and spend several hours cleaning the apartment, before we could do anything. We contacted Ryan to make him aware of the issue, and he was extremely unhelpful, replying with what were clearly AI generated responses, despite his denial of this (one of his messages ended with "Get more with Plus", which is typical for AI apps). Whilst we were gifted some wine to compensate for the issue, no further action was taken - Ryan promised to reimburse us the cleaning fee, and for the cleaning products that we purchased, however this never happened. Instead, Ryan stopped replying to me, and has never resolved this issue. This situation was so disappointing and frustrating, and the hosts should be ashamed of themselves for not properly resolving this. It really is a great shame, because the location is wonderful, and this place has great potential.

We liked the location, lovely walks and scenery in both directions. Plenty eating places. The apartment living area was quite big, with an open plan kitchen and sitting area with a little dining area off. The bathroom was lovely and clean. The twin bedroom had the most storage.

The double bedroom had no storage of it own. It had a wooden rack to hang off, but no wardrobe, draws, or bedside table. There was a small round table at the bottom of the bed which I moved so I could use it. Also, all the sockets are opposite the bed by a window. I didn't feel it was very clean. It was quite dusty, the windows didn't open or close well. When we emptied the kitchen bin, there was mouldy food in the bottom, the fridge also needed wiping out. The big shower head over the bath wasn't attached to the bracket on the wall. The bath was quite slippy when it was wet. I wasn't happy about this as my mom, who had just turned 80, and the reason for our trip didn't want to risk the shower and only used it twice. The double bedding was quite disgusting and needs replacing. There was no mattress or pillow protectors.There were 2 big splits in the duvet cover at the top on the sides, the duvet itself looked old and well used, but the worst was I decided to strip the bed and there were dead insects and black bits on the underside of the sheet, quite gross. I definitely would not be going back.

The location was perfect for going running along the beach. Beach is just around the corner. The communication with host was great and easy going. Had all the important information before arrival. We did not have any problems but I am sure we would have gotten help immediately. The appartment was very clean!

Lovely flat, amazing location for both the town and sea.

Ok small thing, but there's plus sockets in the main bedroom but no full length mirror or any other mirror to do your hair in. Only makeup mirror. And the room with the mirror has no or hard to get to plug sockets, also not great if you're with other people or kids. So put a full length in the main bedroom and you get a 100%

Lovely and bright. Nice decor and kitchen.

The double bedroom wasn't great as small so bed against wall. We moved it out but then can't open door properly. No bedside table. Nowhere to hang clothes (apart from in the other bedroom). Nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom. The double bed was very soft.

It was comfortable, area was convenient.

Street parking. Had to squeeze in first day. Parked down the street one day.
